Rev. Robert C. White began his education by attending H.R.
Butler, Oglethrope, and Nathan B. Forest Elementary Schools in Atlanta and went
on to David T. Howard and Henry Grady High Schools. In 1969 he enlisted in the
Armed Forces / United States Army and served a two-year tour of duty. He later
re-enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and served six years as a Military
Police.
In 1971 after serving his tour
of duty, he accepted a position in the Upjohn Company as a mail clerk.
He worked for four years before joining the
Fulton County Animal Control Division as an officer in 1975.
In 1979, he transferred to the Fulton County
Sheriff’s Department and entered into retirement in February 2003, after
serving a total of 28 faithful years.
In 1992, God called upon him to serve the church and he
began a life totally committed to doing God’s work. In 1998 he received his Bachelors Degree in
Biblical Studies at Beulah
Heights Bible
College graduated Magna
Cum Laude. He completed his studies a
semester early because he attended classes year round. In January 1998 The Gammon Theological
Seminary allowed him to enter prior to graduating from Beulah and there he
received a Master of Divinity Degree (with the concentration of ethics) from
Gammon (ITC) on May 11, 2002. This was a
great accomplishment for him. He thanks
God for Bishop Cornelius Henderson and Rev. Emile Ennis (his pastor and a long time friend) who encouraged him
to continue his journey to Ordained Ministry.
In 1994, the most profound experiences were indeed an
opportunity to Pastor two local churches: Kaigler’s Chapel
United Methodist
Church in Adairsville,
Georgia and Fairview United
Methodist Church
in Rydal, Georgia. In 1995 he served Alexander
United Methodist
Church in Cartersville, Georgia.
In 1998 he began serving New
Oakland City
United Methodist
Church. In 2005 he was
appointed to The Clarkston United Methodist Church where he preached the Word
of God, spreading the Good News that Jesus Christ is Lord! He rebuilt all five churches and moved the
congregations toward higher spiritual awareness. In June 2008 he was appointed to Columbia Drive United Methodist Church and he will continue to teach, preach
the Word of God and move this church to an outstanding level of love and total
commitment to God, the community and the world..

He is blessed in his marriage for twenty-three years, to the
former Valerie Taylor and they are the proud parents of one son (Reginald) and
two girls (Brittney and Courtney), and one adorable grandson Braylon Robert.
